How to remove unwanted words from forms of browser

On the web you never stop learning: How do I delete from the forms of a web page unwanted words, such as web searches, names, credit card numbers to keep our privacy?

Until now I knew two methods: delete all forms with browser options or use, only with Firefox, the add-on Form History Manager, but it has not been updated for last browser versions.

A rather simple method to clear this informations is as follows:

Click on the form, find the word or phrase to remove and place your mouse over it. Once that is highlighted, press together the SHIFT + DEL keys on the keyboard.
